Should I tune

I live in central California and i have an 07 SS/SC with a gm stg 2, injen intake, and a muffler. Should i look into getting a custom tune or will the gm tune work good? If i do need to get a custom tune then i am willing to travel to LA or the Bay area for a tune. If anybody would like to help me out just let me know.

I would highly recommend a tune. I as a tuner, have seen many gm stage 2 tunes and they run extremely rich. You can gain a decent amount of power getting a proper tune on your car. Plus you will know you have a very safe, reliable, solid, powerful daily driver. If your interested in having me do the tuning, let me know. I am a traveling tuner as my sig says =D.

that was basically off a stg2 tune. the trifecta tune i had barely leaned me out over stg2 and increased the timing by like nothing. the tuner said it helped out almost nothing.
my mods were 60s, 2.9, full exhaust, intake, and h/e&stu mod.

I just tuned a friend who has just stage 2, intake, and heat exchanger. Never dyno'd but we noticed a pretty nice increase in power that you could just feel through the but dyno lol. I would say get a tune.
