if i buy a stage2 kit from crate engine depot and install it myself, can anyone else other than the dealership use that code in the kit for the tune or is it specifically just for the dealership

I'm thinking not. The dealerships I think have secret squirrel **** for the re-flash.
There is a code they use once it's hooked up to there computer. I bought nine from
Crate Engine Depot and when I took to my dealer to have it installed one of the first
things they did was verify the code. In the paper work in the kit the stage program is nothing more than a code
the dealer input to their computer. I could be wrong though
I'm sure somebody has figured a way around this.
