I was looking at doing the same springs and a friend warned me the Cobalt is a real PITA to do the swap on.

wasnt really the actually swap that was hard, alot of the bolts were rusted and extremely touch to get off. especially the top nut that holds the hole assembly together.

I have the progress springs and they are great, just when you have someone over 200 lbs in the rear the tires rub the liners inside the quarter panels. My passenger side rear tire side wall is shreaded up because of the car being low and with fat people on that side and and in the rear

that's just funny.

i thought putting springs in was really really easy on the cobalts, did mine in under an hour with no air tools. guess i didn't have rust to deal with though.

these springs im my eyes are the best drop ive seen. Not too much and just enough to be noticeable. Most stock ride heights are not desirable in my eyes, and so are most drops. This however is perfect and still very usable on rough roads.

Yeah, not sure why it was so hard for you to install them? Doing the springs on mine was a breeze, had em done in under 2 hours.

You seem to be one hell of a photographer. You have the lighting just right on that second shot.
