I'm thinking of doing this. Blowing the tires up was fun for awhile, but now it's simply annoying (and I'm not saying this to try and sound cool ). I'm thinking of bringing torque management tables back down to stock for first gear, but I'm curious to see if despite the extra traction if it'll actually get out of the hole quicker.

I have mine at 50-58% in first gear. I need to do 2nd gear too. Now that is has cooled off to below 100* second gear is a joke now it spins very badly all the way past 7K. It still get quite a bit of wheelspin in 1st even at ~50% though. Nothing like at 100% though.

Hell yeah I'm definitely with ya man.. It's fun to mess around with blowing the tires off, but when running someone from a dig it's almost impossible to get any traction with the stock tires.. I'm running stock boost through first gear and I hook way better off the line..

Great, thanks Term for the info, I'm going to go ahead and copy-cat you.

09Cobalt yeah it's pretty ridiculous. In this video you can hear (hard over the LSx exhaust) what 1st is like, I had to ease it into 2nd to try and limit wheel spin in 2nd gear but it ended up making me bog

Yeah that sucks! You still hung with them really well though, even with the extra 500-600lbs you had in the car..

my trifecta tune limits boost to about 7 psi in 1st

still spins though in this colder weather, as street tires only take about 2500rpm launch before spinning

my 2nd gear is a joke from a roll also, NO traction at all, and I just put new steeet tires on, as the stock contis lasted about 10k

I ordered some bfg drag radials to run around on when I need to engage in any highway speed contests!

50% torque limit in first, 100% everyplace else until this weekend, then I'll need torque limit in 2nd too.

I have my 2nd gear down to 80%. Hopefully it helps me hook up better. Seeing 270% airloads now even with the stock WG control (I have not had time to install the MBC yet). Did a 50-102 MPH pull in third gear this morning in 6.5 seconds according to my scanner.

I'm at 75% in first and it still gets the tires spinning pretty good. I tried 50% at the track and my car was a dog until it hit 2nd gear. It dead hooked, bogged, and never recovered.
