I took the headrests out of the back of mine already....looks great.

After you remove the headrests, make sure you take the bracket off of the headrests and bolt them back onto the car.....otherwise the plastic covers won't snap back in place.

Yeah... it sucks about having to keep the brackets in... I may try to find some way around that. Those things weigh a ton.

Also, just for the heck of it... I removed the middle seat belt and seat belt motor in mine... I'm not gonna cram 3 people in the back ever... plus it tends to flap around some with the windows down.

Every pound counts!

I agree with this.... Like the looks with, and more safe for passengers. But the middle seat belt, I might have to do away with that. Very annoying when you try and fold down the seats.

Removing Head Rests

Hey guys & girls some guy posted this in the how-to's. LOL People talk about it being unsafe, then why isn't there a headrest for the middle seat?

Or you could just remove everything and recover the rear deck.

Most luxury sports sedans like the BMW, Lexus and Mercedes all have back seat head rests. I think it adds a look of class to your car. So I can’t see the reason to remove them.
