I went to Flashlight Drags at BeaveRun which is north of Pittsburgh. It is only an 1/8 mile drag...which in my experience was horrible for me. I have the stock tires and I'm Trifecta tuned with some bolt-ons. Let's just say that 1st and 2nd gear were useless as I could get absolutely no traction until I got into 3rd gear. Not a great first time, but I think that the 1/4 mile should net me better results. Other than having almost no traction in 1st and 2nd, the car did pretty well once traction was achieved!

Next mod=STICKIER TIRES!

Thats why some people that get the Trifecta tune get boost limited to 10 psi in first, to help with traction.

 

my tune is limited in 1st to 7psi

 

My tune is limited to 7psi in first gear as well. The 1/8 mile drag is not timed, it's more or less just for fun to get used to dragging to prepare for the 1/4 mile drag. Next weekend i'm going to Pittsburgh Raceway Park to do the 1/4 mile drag which will be timed. I'll put up my times next weekend when I get back from the track.
