Weird over boost non cat related

Well I'm about to lose my mind over this one so i'll try asking you guys. Ever since I got my car back from the dealer after it being broke for two months now when i try and use the boost bypass mod the car keeps trying to boost all the way up to 19 psi. I have a 3.0 pulley and know that shouldn't be the case and can tell that every time the car tries and goes past 15 psi on the guage my timming gets pulled. The car is showing 19 psi on the guage but running like a dog. Now when i leave the bypass mod off the car runs strong again but than the gay boost bleed off starts to own me so the car is garbage again. Any insight in to a hose or sumthing that maybe is pluged or anything to the matter would be helpfull. But honestly if i can't figure this problem out im stocking back out my car and being done with the good damn thing cause this **** is starting to get ridiculous.

have you swapped out for larger injectors, because the stock injectors can't supply enough feul for a car pulling 19psi. so your probably leaning out big time,

The guys at my dealer know nothing about anything they shouldn't have even touced the motor to begin with but had the bright idea to pull it outta the car and touch stuff. Then all my friends cobalts around here have 06's and alot of the sensors and **** are differnt so its hard to tell whats what and whats wrong. I'm pulling off the supercharger as we speak and put back everything but im figuring there has to be some kinda restriction some were thats why im getting an over boost, and a big restriction at that. The second i hit the throttle from a second gear at 40 its already and 15psi and trying to swing to 20.

Correct sir and thats why my timming is getting pulled so hard the car literally almost stops dead in its tracks once it get to between 18 and 19 psi from how much timming getts pulled you would think you let off the throttle. but the joke is i have a 3.0 pully i shouldn't be anywhere near 19 psi so its like "What the ****?!?!?"

and your sure that your Cat. isn't gone. or showing signs?
one good sign is plug your by-pass valve back, and see how quickly your building boost.
if your pushing 12psi @3000rpm somethings wrong

This sounds a lot like what was happening to me, as my Cat. started to go.
sure sign will be when you make more then 15psi boost, and the bypass valve doesn't bleed the boost.

do you hear a whistling noise when you start to build boost?

nah i did the other two time but this time no. I'm missing the weird smell and the cherry red cat, and the whistle but all the other symptoms are there.

what happens idk if you want to try this but take the cat off and run idk straight pipe or just stop after the cat and test drive it to see if it overboosts. Try to isolate it to the cat so you can bitch a fit at paul conte.

You could always opt for one of those high flow cats. I know Modern Performance sells magnaflow high flow cats.
