I have sent an inquiry about weather this kit will work on the cobalts. I think its 4 grand but they do mention that it has provisions for engine management. They say it has been dynoed at 245 horsepower.

Beck 05-09-2006, 03:25 AM for the 2.4L engine? AlphaJaguar5 05-09-2006, 03:28 AM DONT GET IT DONT GET IT DONT GET IT!!!!!!! I cant explain to you all the reasons not to get it but just trust me. Ok fine I'll explain since nobody listens. My dealership built a fully built 2004 Ion QC3. Im talking body kit, springs, exhaust, header, turbo kit (comes with carbon fiber intake for you ricers), spoiler, cf hood. The most stuff you could EVER but on a QC. This thing was fun for the same person that would buy a SS over a SS/SC. It was slow as balls, waaaaaaaay to expensive and the engine managment was shit on a stick. Trust me, my buddy almost bought it but I told me buddy who works at the dealer, he's the head tech, that he was going to he said dont. The kit is crap and doesnt work for sh!t. Can you show me a link to a site or list of what they are using? AlphaJaguar5 05-09-2006, 03:53 AM http://www.saturnmotorsports.com/ On the side bar to the left go to turbos its right on the top of the list NJHK 05-09-2006, 04:23 AM http://www.saturnmotorsports.com/ On the side bar to the left go to turbos its right on the top of the list Yeah, it does look very generic... It's not even descriptive on alot of the items. Who just writes "engine management"? I'd stay away from it too. IonNinja 05-11-2006, 05:06 PM I haven't heard the greatest things about their engine management either...I also believe it was installed on an 03/04 Ion (MAP vs MAF) so the tuning may need to be done slightly different. DV8MTSP 05-20-2006, 02:38 PM "We tested the fitment on the Chevy, but the kit did not even come close to fitting. That and the computers where also different so the tune did not work. Thanks, *** ****** Saturn Motorsports" ohh well :bye: Joewit 05-20-2006, 02:46 PM did anyone see that throttle body on http://www.saturnmotorsports.com/ for the redline, wonder if its any good |
