clearcoat / dealer sucks HELP

ok so i removed my wing to find that the whole top of my trunk lid is screwed... have a black car, and part of my trunk is blueish like a cloudy black when the sun hits it..... there are also what look like water spots that dont come off, i washed and waxed the hell out of it and nothing went away. I figured the paint got screwed up when they clear coated it and the blue might be from burning the clear coat with a buffer before giving me it.... eather way my paint is screwed up and i didint do it. I went in to see if my warrenty would cover getting it refinishes(which it should). The guy tells me their hard water spots... and im like no there not they dont come off, and when in the sun the marks are blue. he said i know, those are water spots and he seemed pretty sure of it so ifinally gave in and said how do i remove it, he told me what polish ad sht to use and the guys at napa and autozone even said that those are not water spots..... what should i do, my trunk looks like sht and i cant afford the CF one

Seems like you just have scuffed clear as far as I can tell without seeing it. Same as for scratches, find a rubbing or a slightly finer compound and polish the trunk then wax over it. You might need a power polisher if its bad enough. Using water with it spreads it out better and lessens the chance of heat drying it to the paint. I recommend 3M polishes. We use them in our bodyshop.

And FYI for anyone, if you don't have polish or wax, vinegar removes hard water spots.
