Just decided it'd be a good thread to have for new Cobalt owners who have just purchased a cobalt and want to know more about their car or what to expect. feel free to add to it and help the newer owners figure out what is something to worry about and what isn't! please keep it serious no comments like "known problems .. it's a cobalt" and if i have missed something please feel free to add it.

2.0L LNF '08 - '10
1. brakes squeel at times due to their performance characteristics (normal)
2. rear brakes grind .. known problem with rear brakes on these cars
3. ticking sound in engine is normal (direct injection)
4. paint chips above door known problem due to body flex (warrantied)
5. transmission is a bit clunky sounding (normal)
6. fuel gauge changes reading occassionaly even when not moving (common problem)
7. Sunroof Bezel falling out
8. Sqeaky rear deck when going over a bump
9. Sqeaky sunroof shade
10.blower fan motor bearings noisey
