Daily Drive w/ Pulley

Im getting stage 1 and was planning on the billetflow 3.15 pulley to go with it becuase I drive my car everyday. Ive seen some go with a 2.9 or a 3.0 from another company. What would you guys reccomend? Is a 2.9 ok for daily driving? if Not I can go with like the sfph 3.0 or something. Id also have to get a tensioner for the 2.9 also right?

Billetflow, i have had no problems with them, and great customer service, your car will run fine with the 3" pulley for daily driving, just get colder plugs.

Does billetflow make a 3.0? Or just a 3.1?

whats the boost difference between our stock 3.46 (not sure of the exact measurement) and a billetflow 3.15? i would think you would run 14lbs or so. you mite even want to go with a tensioner with a 3'' pulley anyway, cause with a GM stage 2 pulley, they give u a smaller belt with it so there is no non-noticable slippage and you get the maximum performance with that size pulley, also no damage to the pulley or the belt. So go out and buy yourself a belt tensioner, see what boost your running before and after the tensioner

Go with the 2.9" Billetflow if your getting stage 2. Im getting a 2.8" for daily driving and a 3.15 would be too big for Stage 1.

yeah you should be fine with any pulley from 2.9 up without a tune. And driveability is fine too. I use my car to commute with the 3" from gmpp and it works fine.

I have a SFPH setup, it's great, they always ship quickly and I haven't had any problems.

I have a 3.25, 3.00 and 2.80 ring and the hub.

I also have the ZZP adjustable tensioner.

At this point in time, you can not just get a stage 2 belt. The only way you would be able to get one is if you have stage 2 and your belt ripped or something and they had to replace it. I guess you could lie to them as well and say that your belt broke but never show them..... I don't think they will be selling them seperately to just any one who wants one.

Besides, the adjustable tensioner can "adjust" to any size you want which is great. Instead of having 3 different belt sizes, you can just have one and adjust it with the tensioner if you want to go with a smaller or higher pulley.

So is it hard to install and adjust?

You can only have a 3" pulley, where I have a Modular System and can change pulley sizes
