where to find SRI ?

does anyone know where i can find SRI.....um...cheap? or the only way to go SRI rite now is to get CAI and make it SRI? i tried AEM, Injen, K&N and some other places ...and i cant find any SRI

weapon r has a SRI but it isnt cheap lol it's a little more than the Injen

Injens CAI is an SRI also, 2 in 1. But why do you want an SRI unless you have a functional hood scoop?

thats simple, its easier to install! ...or which way should i go? im a total noob when it comes to performance stuff.....or should i do the airbox mod thing?

Airbox mod is easy, but it turns it into a CAI... SRI means you still have to take out the stock airbox, which is where you would put the cai...

You don't need a "functional" hood scoop to have a Short Ram Intake. There is enough air circulation going on underneath the hood to supply your motor.

i'll add my amen to that. i have the weapon r and it's just as good as the aem i had with one great exception........wait for it.........NO CEL!!!!! sorry had to get that out.....lol

If you want the least expensive route, you could find a friend with a decent garage and set of tools and make your own pipe and attach a K@N cone filter to the end of it, but that route is probably not what you are looking for. Has anyone custom fabricated their own intakes yet?

Are people with the 2.2 getting alot of CEL's with a CAI...of any make???

i definetly got them with the AEM. and i hear of people getting them with the injen. but i can't confirm it. i had to switch to the weapon r i could not have the light on. verry happy no light for 3 months now.

I have the Injen and I haven't had any CEL's at all.
