I like adjustable coilovers better than lowering springs. I have a yellow coupe and i havent been looking around alot yet but i figured it would be easier 2 ask than spend hours looking for something that doesnt exist. if anyones heard of any out there or any companies planning to make em let me know. thanx :cssNET:

i'd contact RKsport, they have a set of H&R, which imo are one of the best spring and coilover manufactures on the market. and they are fairly good on the price i believe it was like 900.

Thanks  went and checked it out and they want $1,250. I like coilovers but not that much  do u know where i could find a set of performance struts 2 go with the lowering springs? they also say camber correction may be needed. has anyone had that problem yet?

lol you get what you pay for. and as far as i know no one makes struts for the cobalt. check koni, i believe they have a set for the ion which is essentially the same, whether or not it will work with the cobalt is beyond me. personally as far as daily drivability i prefer a spring and shock combo. I am partial to B+G suspension as far as springs and coilovers go, they give excellent comfortable road feel with insanely good handling.

once Koni gets that kit out I will drop mine right away. I learned my lesson on my last car... do not drop unless you have good struts

With suspension components, you definitely get what you pay for. In my opinion, if you're going to lower your car, do it right the first time around. I had the RK Sport pro street coilovers on my Cavi, and trust me, there was a world of difference between them and my previous setups (Intrax springs on stock struts & Ground Control coilovers on stock struts).

Does anyone have any information on the Koni setup that's coming out? I'd like to know how this setup compares to the H&R setup that RK sells.

From my discussions with Koni USA, their kit is going to be Koni yellows fully adjustible coil overs with their springs. The spring will be adjustible like all their other kits. As soon as I get my car built and delivered sent over to Koni I will be able to give full descriptions and mabe set a GP up with them. Some things I know about their system now I don't think I can divulge.
