The Recaros do not come standard. They are a part of the G85 Performance package, Limited slip diff. and recaro seats. Its a 1500$ option.

I just went to GMBuyPower.com and Chevrolet.com

LSD NO LONGER SHOWS UP AS AN OPTION ON EITHER!

Edit: never mind. As pointed out below, it's there, the choices are just set up in a stupid, stupid way.

If you pick colored inserts on the first build page it doesn't show up cause it's not avalible. If you select black/ebony seat inserts it shows up.

It's not gone people....

Wow that is REALLY stupid. So if you leave everything default and click continue, you'll never even know that LSD is an option. That's just assinine.

True.. but on the other hand. I think it's good for us. Our SS's with the G85 package will have higher resale value if it's perceived as a harder to find car being that not many people knew of the package's existance.

No if you want color inserts you dont see the LSD option... If you dont mind not having inserts you get the option simple as that..

You're missing my point completely.

If I am Joe Consumer and I go to Chevrolet.com and click Cobalt SS, it defaults to colored inserts on page one. When you go to page 2, the G85 package is not there. Now, since I am just Joe Consumer, how am I to know that G85 would have been an option if I had chosen the standard black seats? Who in their right mind is going to click EVERY OPTION on page 1 in order to see how it affects page 2?

So the problem is that nothing on page 2 gives you any warning that you're missing out on the best option if you have chosen colored seats.
