stock gap

Reading through the threads, i think i understand that the stock plugs are gapped at .39-.40

I took mine out to try and find my 3500rpm hiccup issue and all my plugs are gapped at .36

is that an issue?

my manual says .042

so i regapped them at .40 and gonna try it out i guess

i have them at .040 now...my hesitation issue around 3500rpm is almost gone
cant tell ya if the car runs better or not tho
