Tire size on lowered ss/sc
Tire size on lowered ss/sc
I just put h&r sport springs on my ss/sc and i am getting a little tire rub and i am looking to get new tires in the near future. I am looking at getting 225/40/18 and am curious if there well be any fitment problems.
So what i want to now from anyone if you have a dropped suspension what size tires is everyone running and if you have any rubbing problems.

I am scared to get the springs for that reason, not sure if my drag radials will rub or not...help...I don't wanna sacrifice running the drag radials at the track...I wish I knew man, I hope we both find out what we need...

dude i have H&R springs on my ss/sc and i have 225/45/18 falken azenis tires on my car. i get rub on my right rear tire. i had to roll my fender edge myself a lil, but it still rubs so ima have to knock in some more of that fender. of course you can go to a bodyshop and have them roll your edges. if i were you stick to the stock tire size.
Yeah right now the only spot i get a rub is the front driver side, but i am going to due a little trimming on the inside of the fender well. That should take care of that. And you said you have 225/45. How bad does it rub? Cause i wounder if you go to a 40 profile will it be good. Cause thats what i want to do is 225/40's
