HELP::Removing the Crankshaft Pulley????

Trying to remove the damn crankshaft pulley but every time i try to loosen it, the pulley moves with it. About every complete turn it kinda goes limp but then its tight as hell again.. anyone help me out here?

you've removed the center nut/bolt your just unable to get it to slide off?

Crankshaft Balancer Replacement

Tools Required


• J 38122-A Harmonic Balancer Holder

• J 45059 Angle Meter

Removal Procedure




Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
Use J 38122-A to prevent the crankshaft from rotating while loosening the crankshaft balancer bolt.
Remove and discard the crankshaft balancer bolt.



Remove the crankshaft balancer.
Installation Procedure




Position the crankshaft balancer.
Install a NEW crankshaft balancer bolt.



Use the J 38122-A to hold the crankshaft balancer in order to prevent the balancer from rotating while tightening the bolt.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten the crankshaft balancer bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 100 Nˇm (74 lb ft) plus an additional 125 degrees using the J 45059 .

Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

Sorry, can't post pic of tool. It's basically a lever with fingers that fit into the spokes on the pulley to hold it while you loosen the bolt.

once you take the belt off you tried putting bolts in the 3 threaded holes didnt you?

And i had to use an impact to bust it loose.
