Widest tires on stock steelies
What are the widest tires that will fit on the stock 15" steelies because I want to replace the shitty Continnentals with something better but I don't have the money to get new rims right now. Will 205/50(or 55)-R15 fit the stock rims?
Uhh brand of time means little. It's the design that matters brown. Case in point a nitto neo gen SUCKS ass at being a high performance tire, it was designed to deal with cars with excessive neg camber and keep tread wear equal. UNliek teh NT555 which is a hellacious performace tire. But for the performance there's a different belt design. And the tread design and compound is very different.
How wide are the stockers man? I'd go as much as 15 wider on a rim than stock, no more. But with the extra width also comes height, if you keep you aspect ratio. You'll need a lower aspect ratio to keep the tires from becoming 4x4 boggers. Just got to a tire shop when your ready to replace them. But those stock tires are nice for just cruising IMO. Good wear on them and they aren't too stiff of a sidewall.

The stock tires are 195/60R-15 so will I be alright stepping up th the Falkens. I looked at a tire size calculator and it said that the 205s have a -1.38% diameter difference which means when the speedo says 50 I'm actually doing 49.31 so thats not a problem.
Also does anybody know anything about the quality of Falken tires?
