well i'm now done with high school and about to attend FAU(Florida Atlantic University) on the 15th of august. just wanted to see how many SS S/C are around here. i know i just saw a yellow one on the way home from orientation with HID's which looked bad ass. Nothing but blue hairs around Boca, no wonder you don't see any SS/SC's out there (Sarasota, too ).

 

There are actually quite a few in sarasota now and i all i see are regular SS's in boca. i know there are a few on this forum that are from the west palm area, but i guess they haven't posted.

there is one of the best drag strips in your area its called moroso

 

On the .com forums there's a guy from Kelley Chevrolet (Ft. Lauderdale, I think) that does some performance stuff there, he was installing gm stage kits but says they have been having issues where the given VCI and VIN number don't match up and the wrong files are programmed. So he is just installing Intense stage kits, now, as well as other performance goodies. You might want to check them out, he goes by the nick kelleyperformance on .com.

 

i actually live in boca and you might have seen me when you were at orientation ( i was registering for class at fau earlier this month) although i don't have hid's ? i know that there is an orange ss/sc in west boca i see every now and then and even recently saw a yellow ss/sc for sale at maroone chevy in delray (it sucked cause it looked like mine although it did not have the g85 package). there are lots of performance shops like speed and truck world, murray's speed and custom, south florida pulley boyz etc down here for tuning + as someone mentioned above moroso is a great track to go to down here.

 

Thanks man. i gotta check out some of those shops when i go back over there. we could try and get a bunch of cobalts together and go out to moroso sometime.
