So, I'm heading to myrtle beach from pittsburgh next weekend, about 10 hours. My friend is going down with his gf's family the same week. We have a wedding to go to Saturday so are driving down sunday. He asked if I minded if him and his girl ride down with me and my girlfriend. I told him he's nuts but more than welcome to. Anyone have people in their back seatts for a long trip? how horrible was it. I know im not sacrificing leg room while driving. so im sure he'll stick his gf behind me. its gonna suck for her legs, haha.

 

unless they're midgets, they'll probably be really uncomfortable. ehehe

 

I always ride in the back of Dave's car if there's someone else in the car, simply because I'm usually the smallest. It's not bad, but I've never been back there for more than a 45 minute trip. It's really not that bad. I'm 5'2" so I can fit comfortably even with the seat pushed all the way back.

 

Yeah I always feel bad when you toss yourself in the back too, lol. I'm always in the front.

I've only been in the back of our cars once and it from Greensburg to my house which is about 35-40 minutes. It wasn't that bad actually, and I am 6'2" (big boy). I don't know if I would do it for more than an hour, but I don't think it would be hell.

 

Your 5'2, so you fall into my classification of a Midget. Still and all, a 10 hour trip requires lots of room so you don't end up looking like a pretzel at the end of the trip. hehe

 

my wife 5'5, mother in law 5'4, and friend 5,8 have all sat in the back seat for about 1 1/2 hours or so and said it was a great ride. theres alot more room then the car i had before.
