So I noticed a few times when I opened my hood, that my washer fluid fill cap had popped opened. I just closed it and thought it was sort of weird.
Then last weekend, I roll into the car show and pop my hood...and it's gone...

Mine used to pop off ALL the time. I just kept complaining to the dealership and they finally replaced the entire windsheild washer container and cap and *poof* no more problem with that cap popping off anymore.
So funny you ask!
I popped the hood a few weeks ago only to see that the cap on the washer fluid tank was open. It pissed me off b/c I wondered how long it had been open since I bought the car a week before and how much dirt found it's way into the tank. Nevertheless, I closed it and didn't thk much of it until last week when I opened the open only to see that it was open....again!!!!
I've been thinking of how I can secure the cap closed (maybe a tie) but am not sure yet.....
Anyone have any ideas or pictures??????
It's stupid little things like this that sometimes make me realize why people are fed up with American cars......for the record, I'm not one of them yet
