new cobalt in dfw
whats up yall! new to the site since i just got a 06 blue ss/sc. im not new to the car scene though. im another converter from the org(j-body)! i go by "yellow rimed one" on the org. i still have the sunfire. i meet i couple of yall a while back near IMAX 635. i have the yellow sunfire with lambo's. my wife mainly drives that so id like to meet some of th balts in the area. ive been cruzing on here trying to get info so i dont do the newbie thing. im new to the performance side of cars though. hope to meet up with yall and learn stuff yall already know. im known for having mod days at the house and cooking out so if yall'd like to do that sometime let me know. im in irving, so about the middle of the dfw area.

There is a great group of cobalt people here. If you're free on Monday night there is a car get together at cruizers in Frisco. Some of us Cobalt peeps will be there and so will a lot other kinds of cars. So check it out if you can. It's every monday from what I understand.

Blue cobalt? I'm in Irving and have a Blue Redline, same powertrain as the CSS. I'd put on an intake system first. Hearing that supercharger whine after installing one is a great sound, scares the hell outta people when going WOT as well

Damn, I'm a few blocks from there. Look for me hot-******* it around there. I shop at that Minyards off shady grove and Story all the time.... Too bad the rest of Irving is all jacked up with the construction everywhere. Oh and I am always at Mother and Daughter's Diner (bad ass food) and that Carwash next door. How long have you been in this area?

You fuggerz need to get some sort of meet thing going.........I'm going to possibly meet with a Redline/Cobalt person today to do a wheel swap in Lewisville. So what happened to those Mavs Elmstreet?

some of us are meeting in lewisville at twin peaks. 5:30ish tonight. i dont know who's going or how long. ive been in touch with robert. give him a call. they are doing his wheel swap in the morning.

Yeah, we couldn't organize it well enough. Sunday we're going to do the wheel swap at Vaughn's place of employment around 11:00am/noon-ish. Any and all LSJ people are welcome to stop by. If you don't know where Vaughn works then it might be a good idea to give him a call.......

Saturday Denton raceway is having a test and tune. I believe its $10 till about midnight. Would like to gauge some interest before actually scheduling something. Anyone interested, let me know on here or PM. Evan and Vaughn, do you think you'll have your cars ready by then? If not then Kennedale Raceway is doing a test and tune the following week I believe.
Oh and I'm tinkering with a mod that will net me some good numbers possibly........

What's the status on yours? Did they finally pull the transmission on a new one to slap it on? Go to James Woods and see if David's transmission is still on their lot!
