so i have a 2.4ss and when i go in reverse, there is this creaking noise, kinda high pitched.. it also happens when im in 1st or 2nd gear and i have the rpms kinda high and let off the gas, as the rpm's decrease i hear the same noise, any ideas?

oh and it sounds like it is coming from the front right side

i have a similar noise in that area in my 2.2... altho i think its just the suspension b/c i dont notice it @ specific RPMs, driving habits, or gears... it is annoying, but usually i just turn up the radio abit and it goes away, or atlest i can hear it...lol

I have the same exact noise on my 2.0. The dealership just replaced the hubs in both front wheels. The noise is kind of gone. GM said it was one of three things. Hubs, Trans or Axel. So I guess the hubs were bad, but there obviously another problem.
