Where the hell is bedford?

 

bedford is where most areas refer to the H.E.B area. this includes hurst/euluess*sp/bedford. its between irving and ft worth. the place will be off 183 west of irving.

 

it would be nice to have a big domestic showing here. last year it was me(in my sunfire) and JD in his cavy. we were about the only domestics there. lets get the j-bodies/d-bodies/neons/focus/f-bodies and any others. remember its a chance to win $100 cold hard CASH and maybe drives2fast4you(cant remember the name) could win $500.

no one intersted?

 

one of our fellow j's from out of state is bringing their car here for the show. theres prolly about 5ish j's entering the show. we need to get the balts to join up and hit some shows here and there. im debating on taking both cars to the show. i dont plan on winning anything but to support the domestic compact scene. we j's having been doing it for about 2 years.

 

Good show even though it was hot as hell. Nice meeting everyone. Did anyone from the group win anything?

 

somehow i got 1st place for best sport compact, i thought maybe stock class.

there were: 2 balts / 1 ion / 1 cavfire / 3 sunfires / 5 cavs. we joined to make gm compact cars club for the big event. one of the sunfire from kansas got best of show. 2 fast 4u showed up.

she came and talked to me for a bit then was there for a company to. she had just got there from modeling at a scion event. i was busting her over that.

 

Hey I got paid $20/hr for that. Hell yes I modeled at a Scion show!! lol

And yeah I was there hiding from the sun in the Tropicare.com tent from about 5pm to whenever we left.

the nice part about a scion show is... if they try to stiff you, it's not like the can make a fast getaway.

Yeah I heard about that showing on the radio. Was as big as they were hyping it on the radio? It sounded like they ere trying to be the biggest meet in Scion history.

 

There was a lot more there than I had expected. Maybe about 50 or so.
