Exclamation CA Front Mount Heat Exchanger???

i found this on cobalt-addiction.com does anyone know if it really will make a diff? i know it looks sweet on the car lol

CA Front Mount Heat Exchanger features tig welded all aluminum heat exchanger . This light weight heat exchanger offers greater fluid holding capacity , and mounts in the front fascia for greater cooling efficiency. The stock heat exchanger mounts between the ac condenser and the stock radiator . This cuts down the stock cooling efficiency greatly and produces greater heat soak of booth the heat exchanger and the stock radiator. The stock ac condenser , heat exchanger and radiator are installed so close to each other there is not much air dispersion between them . By mounting the heat exchanger up front , greater cooling of the supercharger is attained thus yielding lower temperatures , greater performance , and elongated life of the supercharger itself.

**This kit features large -12 stainless steel braided hose , all aluminum fittings , steel mounting brackets and all clamps and bolts needed for installation. This is a complete kit that can be bolted on with or without removing the stock heat exchanger. So far this kit shows 15 degrees cooler for IAT2 while under full boost as well as quicker temp drops while driving due to cooler air through the heat exchager. Also allows for an additonal quart of coolant which helps with the cooler temps. Bumper removal is not necessary at all for the installation , we did it for illustration purposes only. Install takes about 2 hours with basic hand tools.

yeah thats my car in the pics.... it helps a good amount... especially at speed... h/e is cold to the touch even after some spirited driving. and my iat2 temps show a pretty decent drop.

I don't see why not... same here... just make sure you use a good mix of dex cool and water for whatever temp you hit.... its more than a 15 deg drop... my car had just been idling standing still for a bout a half hr before I did that run (bleeding out the system) it was getting late and just wanted to put up some numbers... should have a new logfile tues or wed. and considering my iat2 used to be 200+ it def is doin its job. especially with the meth inj.

I removed it to free up some more air for the radiator. does a good job by its self... but you could run it inline if you wanted even more fluid capacity
