Safe to run octane booster with high test?

Was just curious on your opinion.

Do you think it's safe to run octant booster with high test (93) octane in the SS?

Would it have any benefit?

There is a Royal Farms station around here that has 1 pump seperate from the Unleaded, Mid-grade and premium, it's race fuel, next level above premium i guess, could i use that, and if i did, could i also use octane boost in it w/out blowing everything apart

read the bottle on most of those octane boosters, they only raise it maybe 1-2 octane max. that say 20-30 points on most of them, and 20 points equals 0.2 octane level difference.

do the cheap 99 octane fuel mix this way:

3 gallons of 93 octane fuel

1 gallon of xylene or toulene

2 ounces of mystery oil (makes up for the xylene not having lubrication)

= 99.* octane

the actual octane boosters don't work as well as they want you to beleive unless you dump like 2-3 cans in 3-4 gallons of fuel
