Question with belt slip?

Ok guys, I have the 2.5 inch pulley on the car. I have the 3"tensioner pulley and the stage two belt. I am having belt slip in all gears. Should I get the adjustable tensioner from zzperformance or should I go with the supercharger plate that rises it up about and inch from intense? Let me know what you guys think?

well... that depends on the plate. if it goes between the blower and the manifold, it will effectivey lengthen the intake runner i think... which may help lower end torque and hurt throttle response...

I say the plate. Rob has it, and it makes even the stock belt nice and snug.

On a side note, it's interesting that you're getting belt slip. I have the stock belt, 3" tensioner pulley, and a 2.5" supercharger pulley, and I'm not "detecting" any belt slip, knock on wood. I was going to get the GM Stage belt anyway, just to be on the safe side.

I had the 2.85 and the stage two belt and the 2.7 tensioner and was getting belt slip. Maybe my tensioner is bad
