Mufflers that dont sound like rice?

Are there any out there, I drive my car 110 miles a day, dont want the rice sound, just something a bit louder, but not too loud, any ideas or expirence out there with certain brands?

i love my pacesetter... sounds basically like stock, but a little louder and deeper... not ricey at all...

do u have a soundclip of ur pacesetter... ? i was gonna go pacesetter but not sure about the sound.

sound clips don't do any exhaust justice... i can assure you it's not ricey though... everyone that has it loves it

My Magnaflow on the 2.2 sounds just like my buddys SSS/c with Stock Exhaust. just more volume same tone and bass note

get a twin loop muffler im going that route soon!

it muffles the sound 2x but its straight thru! so you get same performance!

im selling my TenzoR can.... it sounds fking nice, i used to have it on stock system just redid the muffler(i later on went header back) but it sounded rly rlly low

cobaltcowboy had the corsa and liked mine better, not to sound cocky but i think it sounded better than the corsa too.... pm me if interested, will ship tomorrow if need be

Magnaflow, cost me $43 with shipping on ebay brand new(universal muffler). I have had it on for a month now and my gas mileage has gone up 2 miles and continues to rise.... 35.2 mpg baby.... keep going!! Sounds great too, has a low growl and when u down shift u get a rumble and crackin.

in my opinion the Pacesetter and DC Sports catback both sound ricey, atleast in the clips I've heard. Yet to hear one in person...

i used to have a flowmaster 40 series on my old cobalt...sounds nice but only when with a catback w/ resonator. with stock piping it has some weird noises.

yeah if you want juat a muffler i would go with a straight through magnaflow i have the cat back and itt sounds great no matter what you'll get ahigh pitched sound ith a 4 banger but mine dont get it till high in the rpms like half way through power band
