Did you have Transmission problems ?

As some of you read, I had a major transmission failure in my 06 SS/SC.
Main thread can be found here

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/general-cobalt-68/looking-some-advice-warrenty-33012/

The dealer/gm Canada is refusing me warrenty, on a 6 week old car, and I am not going to accept that.
I plan to pursue the matter, maybe even courts if it comes to that, but right now, I would like to gather up some more information to if anyone else had a transmission problem, and if it was or was not replaced under warrenty.

If you did, could you please tell me what failed, and what they fixed.

maybe if I have infomormation that other people had trans problems and theres got fixed they will stop giving me the run around and fix mine to.

I just dropped mine off at the dealer tonight. 2054 miles, and my clutch is slipping horribly. Under spirited acceleration, a shift into second slips the clutch so bad that you can smell it getting smoked. I am sure they will blame my driving, even though I have been driven my 97 S10for 9 years and 50,000 miles with no clutch problems.

Let's see, I replaced my clutch and now I get a wierd clunk noise when I take off and turn left. I also have a wierd noise kind of rubbing noise when I decelerate with the car in gear(say 60-55 in 5th). And I also get a wierd noise when accellerating in first and second from about 1500-3000 rpms. Not too happy with Chevy since they've already failed to warranty the clutch.

hey guys, thanks for the input and help, but im looking for mainly transmission problems, not clutch.
the situation I have involves only the tranny, not the clutch, just incase there was any confusion.

Mine goes in as soon as I can get in there . Im at about 40K miles and there is a gear rattle noise when u decel in gear . They said if it is an internal trans problem , and not my clutch making the noise , they WILL replace the trans under warranty . With my work schedule I dont have time to pull it apart and see whats going on . It sounds like a trans problem though .

Guess well see .
