I have been waiting for over a month for my parts from the dealer. The parts I am waiting on are a new down volume switch for the steering wheel, driver and pass door panel w/ switch bezel, and shifter knob I just called them for the first time today since I brought my car in over a month ago and left a message for my lousy service guy to call me back which he of course didnt as it is 10:30 pm. Are the parts taking this long because of GM or is it the dealer that I am now waiting on.

Its your dealer, all the parts except the shifter knob are currently available from GM.
The shifter knob is on backorder. They could be waiting for the knob before they bring you in.
Also the shift pattern plate does not come with the knob but it is also on backorder.
BTW the door switch plates(bezel) are available separately you don't have to get new
door panel just for them.

ok I went to the dealer and they had 4 of like 8 parts ordered and said that the rest are backordered and they showed me the printout. The head guy in parts told me that the new bezels are a little bigger to stop the leather from coming out on the door.

Oh and the hairy girl. My brother posted it on mustangworld as a joke and got us baned because he didnt link the pink.

 

Where are you located in south florida? Come to my dealer, i can get those parts in a week or less usually. Have done it on two cars so far.
