I ordered a ss/sc front fasacia for 140 and 44 shipping ups ground. Sent check wed and he recieved it on Friday in NC. Anyway I threw the guy in a 10 dollar tip and asked to ship asap plz...said yeah sure...I just got a email saying hes shipping early next week. I dont like waiting

then he goes tot ell me to him its in perfect condition yet he list it has 2 cracks when the pics show 5 lol GL with it i wanted it for my sedan but too much work.

Im telling you, you better cancel the check really quick becasue i think it takes 2-3 days to clear.

 

The money is already taken from my account. I know I was faced with some damages ( 1 small crack 1" and 1 more 2" .....My gfs dad does autobody and painting so hes going to do it. But geez 5 Even tho i have no proof

i was thinking about buying it, how would i go about reapiring something like that bondo or fiberlass the cracks?

 

The proper way is to melt the plastic back together using an old souldering iron then use bondo to smooth it out.

 

You can also buy specialized plastic repair stuff. some of the best is Duramix brand. thats what all of the body shops ive worked in use. you sand both sides of the plastic where the damage is and apply the Duramix (to both sides). when cured it sands easily and a polyester glazing putty can be used to repair the remaining imperfections.

 

sounds easy but i know it would be pretty hard to get it right

 

its not too bad, the duramix is just plastic, and it bonds with the rest of the bumper. and glazing putty sands just like bondo, if you can do mud work, you can do this.
