Arrow Strut bars other then the DC bar?

Iv been looking around and so far I like the Cobalt-Addiction bar the best at less then 100 shipped and it looks realy nice.

But I was wondering if there are any other front bars out there to look at?

And do you have pics of them and links for them?

Im not a fan of the DC bar do to price and the color they used. I cant see paying that much for a bar the looks almost like its stock and I have to repaint it to.

Thanks.

Try going here. I know you said that you didn't want the DC bar cause of its stock look and price, but not sure if this one looks like the one you were talking about and the price isn't too bad. I bought my CAI from Turbo Tech, prices are good. I'm trying to decide what direction to go with the strut bar also.

If the DC bar was a V2 like that pic shows I would be alot more interested in ti. But its a V1 bar and I think it looks plain and stock and its going to be like 140 by the time I get it in my hands.

Im not realy interested in that bar unless some one is going to make me a realy good deal on a used one.

This is probably the DC bar that you were looking at. I think the carbon strut bar from Turbo Tech is more eye appealing, but thats just my opinion. Happy Hunting, hope this helps.

I agree..The V1 is prob gonna hit you in the pocket for close to 140 or 150 shipped where as the V2 from TTR is about the same amount maybe a lil less and nicer looking.

The bar on turboTec is a V1 also. They just have a pic of a V2 bar on there. D/C dosnt make a V2 for the car.

Really?!?! What a crock. I like that Strut bar. If they had that bar for our cars I would buy one for sure. Especially at that price. I think I had a better selection of strut bars for my 92 Beretta GT then we have for the Balts. At least for now.

educate me on the upside and downside of a strut tower brace

how does a strut tower brace affect handling? I know it stiffens the car.... Is it going to make it understeer more? How will it effect traction out of corners(I think it will be an improvement).
I also know it will throw me in a different AUTO-X class.... but, I think the GMPP performance exhaust and the Ingalls has already put me there.....

Can anyone educate me on the upside and downside of a strut tower brace.....pleeease!!!

Well here it goes.

A strut brace basicaly connects both sides of the car together for better handling.
It's good for track racing. Both struts now share a load instead of doing it independantly.
If you don't track race there is realy no point.

UPS!

1. Better handling.
2. Car feels more solid.
3. The car stays more level during hard cornering.

DOWNS!

1. There is a little more cabin vibration.
2. If you have uneven wear on your tires you will now feel it in the steering wheel.
3. Torque steer can be worst at times. Not in every case though.
