Probaly R&D time and how well made they are.
Though I have never used there stuff so I am onyl guessing here.
What is the drop?
I think the stock struts have enuff camber adjustment to handle up to a 2.3" drop.
The rear will not need any adjustment do to its trailing arm setup.

I would recommend getting a camber kit for the front because of the 2" drop. Furthermore, Progress is a much smaller company with significantly less overhead to persay Eibach. Therefore, they can charge less. They make very nice products.
good to know Dezod
even though the drops only 1.8 inches, will i still need the Cambers (and what do they do anyway?)
to answer badmunky, its a 1.8in front drop, 2in rear drop

Progress is a good company. Dont let price fool you. Eibachs are simply over priced (IMO).
Camber kit, no you shouldnt need one. Theres plent of adjustment in the stock struts. (and not to call dezod out but of course they will say you need one, they're one of two vendors I know that offer the kit)
I lowered my car 2" in front and didn't need a camber kit!

I have run the progress springs on several differnt cars that i have built up over the past few years for autox. I really like the drop they have. You cant beat the price and with the right struts to match they handle very well. As far as a camber kit they are not necessary on the cobalt however it makes it a ton easier to adjust your camber. Camber is how many degrees the wheel is angled in or out. If your are planning on running your car at the track some - camber is a good thing.
- camber the top of the tire leans in
+ camber the top to the tire leans out

okay...thanx a lot guys...i dont think i need cambers since im just lookin for a better (faster, nicer looking/handling) daily driver, but ill def get the progress springs now
however, first inline is my exhaust, and now that i got a job (got hired yesterday) i'll have enough money for it by my first paycheck

ITs not cambers, its Camber, the measure of tilt inward or outward of the wheel from a vertical axis. The cambers your reffering to are a camber kit, which is simply a bolt with a washer. Just FYI
