so tomorrow would be 1 year since i got my car.

Today, I got out of class early and the weather was AMAZING! I was leaving college and was going to meet my friends at the boardwalk. I'm 2nd in line to leave the lot, a honda CRV in front of me. He starts to pull out of the lot, so I look to the left to see if anyone else is coming. Naturally, I let my foot off the break and start to go. All of the sudden he slams on his breaks, I look up and I'm about to hit his SUV. I cut the wheel to the left but it was too late. My fender and bumper are messed up pretty bad. I'm probably going to need a new headlight also, but at least I didn't mess up the hood because I cut the wheel to the left. My friend works at a body shop, and he says around 2 grand for my car. I also have to pay for the old guy's suv because apparently it was my fault...

So instead of spending my day off detailing and taking pictures of my car on our 1 year anniversary, I'll be taking it to body shops all day to get quotes. What a shitty day.

wow, sucks man. Hope everything goes well, and two grand sounds high for a little fender and bumber damage

 

going around 3-5 mph. It sucks because it hit right where the fender and bumper and headlight all meet on the passenger's side. He got a quote on his to be $679 so hopefully mine won't be that much.

 

i have bad luck with 1 years with my cars im hopeing to break the trend with this car.

First car mazda mx6 m-series engine blew 1 month before the year ended and right before i finished paying it off.

eclipse 1 year and 3 weeks get into a crash that messed up the left side and cost 3-4 grand to fix it should have been totalled out nooo. so one week after i get it back guess what happens halfway hygrolock the motor trade it in the following month for a cobalt ss/sc

had something like that happen to me a few years ago... damn dude infront of me dropped his cell phone and hit the brakes to pick it up.

people need to learn how to hang up and drive...

i was going to yell at him... but it mostly was my fault, and he was really old so i didnt' want a problem...

Lol, I still would have yelled at him. You should have seen me when this guys straight up put his jeep in reverse and backed over my hood......good thing I was only in my saturn...lol

eh i got into an accident today too in my dads buick, body shop said they may have to total it....

 

well here's the update: his car is going to be 679 plus tax
mine is going to be $1513- I also needed a hood because of a crease i didn't notice last night, but since I work at the place, I'm getting it free...

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, but still bad enough...
