Struts and sways
Ok. I know they are two different things. At least, I believe them to be. Do they work with each other?
Say front and rear struts. With front and rear sway bars. Does that work? Or is it one or the other? Does it cause "over tight-ness" or does it help handling alot?

Struts are the shock absorber that the spring goes around (very dumbed down so it might be a little off). and the sway bars are the bars that connect the steering knuckles of the front suspension and the rear of our cars dont have one since its a solid rear axle. So in conlusion, yes you have both sway bars and struts. For me it kind of hard to write an explanation but if we were in person i could show you exactly what im trying to say.

They come on vehicles because they connect the left and right sides of the suspension and if you upgrade them, you will get better handling, but i would get a strut tower brace before upgrading em.

sway bars are awsome they will help you alot more than a front strut brace.AMF some members are selling their strut braces cause they say it has little effect, but you can not go wrong with the sways
yea Gamebay11, I meant the strut tower (front), not the actual strut struts. I'm sorry I didn't make that clearer.
So basically, on a cobalt ss/sc, you can only have a rear sway (or is http://bwoodyperformance.com/product...products_id=47 a real strut bar for the rear, just under, not ontop like the front?), and on the front you can have the strut tower brace and sway bar?

no thats a lower tie bar.
It connects the left and right side of the twist beam to prevent camber an toe changes under hard cornering.
And you have a front antiroll bar "Sway bar" stock and in the rear we have an added bar in the rear axle beam that acts as a antiroll bar but its cheaper to make that way.
You can replace your front antiroll bar but the SS/C stock front bar is fine. Get a rear antiroll bar and a rear tiebar and the back if set then get a front strut tomwer brace and you should be fine.
But springs would make the biggest diferance as the antiroll bars are there to supliment the springs to help prevent body roll in a hard turn.
