As soon as i figure out exactly what i need to buy i will be getting the triple gauge pillar from autometer and 3 gauges being a full sweep vacuum/boost gauge. a full sweep oil pressure gauge, and a full sweep tranny temp gauge. These all being the cobalt series by autometer. My question is mostly to do with the automatic tranny temp gauge... basically on the autometer website it says there may be a need for extra accesory parts for the the tranny gauge to work with certain cars. So can someone tell me if i would need other parts to make this work and what they would be? thanks alot for the help as i am eager to buy these and get them installed before my turbo project so i can monitor some numbers pre turbo 1st.
You might need an adapter to mount the sending unit, but it should be just e temperature probe. You will need an adapter for the oil pres

looks like you shouldnt need anything other than what comes with the gauge if i read right, but someone back this up as i am not sure.

The oil preassure gauge will need a adapter, 12mm x 1.5mm I think. It is avalible from Autometer. I had to make a tee fitting so the stock sending unit could still be used. I think someone installed a oil preassure gauge in one of the oil galleries by removeing a plug, but I am not sure which one.
The 2.4 does not have any vacuum lines, so I slpiced into the line going to the master cylinder. A trip to the hardware store for parts will be needed.
You will have to drill a hole in the trans pan to install the sending unit for the trans temp gauge.
I found installing gauges a little challenging but well worth the effort.

can you direct me to the exact part i need as far as the adapter 12mm x 1.5mm im not sure what kind of adapter that is. i talked to my performance guy and he said he didint think it would be needed but to have it on hand just in case so i will, he wants $230 to install all 3 gauges so i hope thats a fair price. but as soon as you can help me find that adapter then im ordering the gauges. thanks.
You will need
Electric Temperature or Pressure 1/8" NPT to M12x1.75 Product #2278 from Autometer.
Your sending unit will screw into this. I think you will have to keep your stock sending unit, so you will have to fabricate a tee fitting or install your new sending unit somewhere other than where the stock one is. I think there are 3 oil gallery plugs on the back side of the block under the exhuast manifold. If you are installing a turbo, you will probably have the manifold off anyway so one of these would be a good choice. they are also M12 x 1.75 thread, so you will still need the adapter.
Sorry I said 12x1.5 earlier, I forgot the size. Just checked it in the service manual and it is M12 x 1.75.
