I love the Arrival Blue!! Congrats!
selfinfliction 07-10-2005, 10:52 PM pay close attention to how good your a/c condenser looks because it will not be that way very long lol
IROCZ0r 07-11-2005, 02:54 AM Eh, warranty will take care of it.
Nightcrawler 07-11-2005, 12:36 PM Another Arrival Blue owner. ;)
That seems to be the most popular color so far besides the red they shoved down everyone's throats at the dealerships... and yet they are going to get rid of it. Glad I got one!
boston69 07-11-2005, 01:28 PM Must be nice to have rich parents to pay for toys you will probably end up not respecting.
IROCZ0r 07-11-2005, 01:53 PM Oh, it IS!
Z06Kat 07-11-2005, 04:25 PM Must be nice to have rich parents to pay for toys you will probably end up not respecting.
why are you judging him when you dont even know him? sheesh people lay off the rest of us because we're young and fortunate to have parents that can afford to help us out w/ our cars. you dont know if maybe he really deserves the car or not. why dont you wait a minute before making preconceived stereotypical judgments. why dont you all wait a second before making senseless accusations about someone just because they're young.
boston69 07-11-2005, 04:31 PM I don't think that anything deserves getting a car. Do you think that someone should honestly be rewarded just for graduating High School? It should be something you do just for the satisfaction of obtaining the knowledge you need to enter the real world. He said himself that is is nice to have parents pay for a car. If his parents have so much money why doesn't he use it to go to college so he can get a job and pay his own way through life. I take it that you must be one of those spoiled fortunate kids, probably an only child to.
wikkymaster 07-11-2005, 04:57 PM ^agreed, because im not spoiled im driving the base model, because thats all that "I" can afford, im 18 and have a job and go to school
boston69 07-11-2005, 05:14 PM Good for you and I am sure that you will take better care of it and appreciate it more. I'm glad to see there are still younger people in this world with some sense of responsibility.
dj4all 07-11-2005, 05:37 PM Hey Boston...here's a thought. GFY (and that doesn't mean "good for you" either).
dj4all 07-11-2005, 05:39 PM Another Arrival Blue owner. ;)

Yep...just changed my order from black to blue!! :cssNET:
boston69 07-11-2005, 05:49 PM To get off the subject of the spoiled ones, obviously we have another hand fed child. Congrats to all you Cobalt owners. I bought my Red 05 SS S/C 4 days before being deployed to the desert and I love it. I only got to put 340 miles on it before I left and can't wait to get home in Sept to finish breaker her in. I've been waiting a long time for Chevy to come out with a decent, affordable car. The Cavaliers just didn't do it for me and I can't afford a Vette. GO COBALTS.
CobaltSS132 07-11-2005, 06:15 PM You people who judge other on getting cars "handed" to them (as you say) by their parents, should STFU, u don’t know if "a kid" deserves it or not u don’t know anything about that person drop your ego, and leave him and anyone else alone.
Your more annoying then damn fan boys
BTW, congrats on your car man, treat her well. And don’t listen to these retards
dj4all 07-11-2005, 06:48 PM Quote from boston69: "...before being deployed to the desert and I love it".
Now that explains everything (the boy has a 'tude problem). Thank you for clarifying. :cssNET:
Z06Kat 07-11-2005, 06:50 PM dude, you dont know me, i am not an only child, and i am not some punk spoiled brat. i've worked my head/youth off just to be number one in my class, and i still have a ton of work to keep that up because im barely going to be a junior. now, the reason im doing this is so i can get into the college of my choice with out my parents paying for it, so i can have the profession of my choice, and so i can support myself AND my parents in their retirement because right now social security is going down the drain and i worry about them. i appreciate everything they have ever done for me and i would like to be able pay them back with what ever they want.
my parents know that i work hard for the things i get, and i have payed for every expensive piece of merchandise in my room since i was 14 including a 27'' T.V that took me quite some time to save up for from just babysitting money. so i think i can honestly say that i do deserve some help from my parents w/ a car especially when i plan to pay them back way more then ten times what the car is even worth.
so please, dont act like you know me. because you dont. im not stupid. i would not wreck a car my parents worked hard to get for me.

Boston, Great way to represent the US Military. With that sort of attitude you should be in that sand box I called home for a while myself. Take care out there and I 'm sure you'll come back a more humble person.
Pastapuck 07-11-2005, 08:18 PM Looking good... congrats on the car.
DARK AGE 53 07-12-2005, 06:46 PM I think it's BS that your parents bought you that SS/SC (assuming they did) -- they should have given it to me instead.:-D You dare ask why, hell I don't know...just because I say so. I'm almost 58 and I don't have an SS/SC as of yet  , it just doesn't seem right that you have one and I don't. :( I don't care that you must be a good kid for your parents to have gotten you the SS/SC, it's just not right .
Enough of that BS...
From an old punk, congrats on a fine looking ride. :cssNET: :thumb:
