Need Torque

Hey guys, I know this might seen dumb to you but what exactly gives a car torque. I want my car to gain some torque but i really havn no idea about it. All i know is its some twisting force or somthing like that.

If its possible we need to get some companies to make us some parts that up the torque a little but cos i would love to have more torque then HP. I love the feeling of being stuck in my seat while im flooring it.

Mayb its the difference between a turbo and a supercharger...i dunno

Thumbs up

for our cars the smaller the pulley the more tq you gain! but you also get heat, so you need certain mods for get certain mods.

more displacement would yield more torque

A roots style supercharger will produce more low-end torque than a turbo (due to many factors such as belt driven, instant response, etc...)

One way to get "cheap torque" is actually to recover lost torque by strengthening your motor mounts. By replacing your softer rubber mounts with poly/solid mounts you will recover some of the lost torque associated with twisting the motor in its mounts and put more of what you already have to the ground.

I would start there...then add performance parts that add more torque (smaller pulley). This way you optimize the torque you already have before you add performance to the car.
