New News coming from the Magazine's
Ok so needless to say i search high and low for any new information. I found a little article in the "ROAD & TRACK" magazine. The cover states 'New cars of 2005'.
In the article it shows a picture of a red SS and give a little discription of the car. Listing its stats. Other then not no other mentioning of the car was done.
Has anyone else seen any new PRESS info?

If there was, I bet Jonel would be on top of it and post it in his press release sticky thread.
But, personally..no. I went through most of the articles Jonel posted..lots of good information..but it soon becomes redundant. For now, the only new/old news is when the damn car will actually be produced. I hope someone can find out for sure soon.
For sure! Jonel is all over it. And like you said, Its all redundant. I agree. I was just making it know that the cobalt is making it into the news now. Not just from the Internet.
Aww I got all excited when I opened this post
.I figured its something new. But yea, I did see it. As you guys said, its redundant and not worth posting same info and pics.
Keep looking
Well eventually fish something new

I read in C&D this month about the Redline.... 14.7 quarter, 6.1 0 to 60. Those are the best times I've seen so far I think. Hahahaha SCC SUCKS !!! The only managed to run a 15.3 with it lol. What a joke of a magazine.
Given that the Redline and Cobalt are running the same powertrains, and the Cobalt is about 70 pounds lighter then the Redline (according to the Redline's soecs in C&D and the Cobalts on gmcanada.com) the Cobalt is looking to be pretty damn sweet.

Exactly, their cars always run faster after they have them for a long-term test. Should be easy to run low 14's with only mild bolt-ons, and 13's could be achievable with some boost and ECM tweaks.
I don't know if Jonelz posted this already or not, but aparently the aug. issue of HCI built a 2.0 and dynoed it; they said with a flashed ecu and pulley they were making 265 at the wheels... not bad at all!

by 'build' I mean they made a 2.0 from a 2.2 - destroked it, etc; apparently the specs were very close to the LSJ.
I didn't get a chance to read the article, so this is all third hand knowledge though.
