I know there is a TON of threads about "my new cobalt", "pics of my new SS/SC", BUT I know why. I LOVE this car, I've only put 45 miles on it, but man oh man, can not wait for it to stop raining so I can open her up. I'm new to the manual transaxle, actually this is two firsts in one, first manual and first new car. BTW, I was finally able to pick up my SS/SC today at 3:04 pm EST. Been waiting a looong while for them to find my car. First one they brought in was yellow, but black seats. Had to send them back on the hunt for the yellow w/ yellow inserts. I was astounded I only stalled her once, and that was the initial start from the dealer. Might just be new-car-jitters, but I'm still shaking from the excitement of hopin in the driver's seat to head out to dinner w/ my fiancee. The whole way to IHOP from the dealer I was getting attentive looks and faces of bewilderment. LOVE THE COBALT SS! I foresee a great and happy ownership. Well engh of my running on, keep it safe all. Might post pics if Iit stops raining

You mean I have to still .....spend...money on my fiance'? She got my Lancer, so I know she's happy. But I know the point heh. One thing I forgot to mention was when I was trying to leave IHOP, we sat there for 15 minutes trying to fihure out how to put the tranny in reverse Who woulda thought to pull that lil finger grippy like thing on the shifter up. Talk about feeling stupid.

 

lol yeah, they don't tell you about that at the dealership unless you test drive the car normally

yeah i hade the same problem but i got my dealers first ss so their was like 4 teck guys out their then my lil sister was sitting in the drivers seet will my dad was reading the manuel and she just put it in reverse. lol it was so funny took like 25 min
