Has anyone used...
...the led tailight bulbs from autozone. the 3157 ones that are about the size of a quarter and have about 20 leds on it. I know someone has it on their balt. I do know that they will blink faster because of the impedance or whatever but right now I'm pissed at slvania and there crappy silversatr bulbs. Had a headlight go and the next day a silverstar tailight goes too
. ANy how just wanted to know peoples opinions on it and does anyone have any pics of them in a balt

I have them. They are actually really good bulbs. Yes, you were right in saying they blink faster, but, they look really good at night, because, they look more like little eyes and can be seen for a while away. I would say they are worth it.
I have similar LED taillight bulbs. All you need to do to solve the blinking problem is splice in a resistor in the lines. The low resistance of the LEDs is what makes the circuitry behave as if the bulbs are burned out (hence the fast blinking). I don't have any really good pics of it on my car, but if you search through my gallery there are a few taken at night with them in.

Yeah they make a heavy duty load resistor thats about AA battery size... Dont know if I can hotlink, so heres the pic
They says its a 6-ohm Resistor... Its 50W though although really you only need about 25, but better safe then sorry.

I had them in my car. The only thing that I perosnally didn't like about them was on a sunny day, it was hard to see the leds. I was afraid that someone would rearend me becuase they couldn't see the lights. However, they were pretty nice during the night.
They're not very bright at all. I returned mine cause a cop pulled me over thinking both my tails were out. No ticket or anything other then a friendly piece of advice that they may not be a good idea if others can't see them easily.
