Over the last couple of years, I've always used the Black Magic Tire Wet Foam(or gel) an I've loved the results... Tires look great, lasts forfuckin ever, an when it rained, my tires still were black, but just not as shiney..
So not 2 long ago, I ran out, and decided I wanted to try somethin new..
My Manager suggested this Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Spray and went on to monologue about how he loooved it an bla bla bla...

meh.. I'm always up for somethin new..
At first, I wasn't 2 excited about it cuz after you wash your car, you have to wait until your car dries before you can put this on(or it wont stick) and then you have to let it sit for "an hour" to let it set in.. Just wasn't as convenient as other stuff I've used... meh, o well..
SooOoooo. first time I used it.. Looked ok, it rained lightly the next day and it was gone completely
NeXT time I used it(bout 2 an a half weeks ago) I washed/waxed the balt an let it sit for about 5-6 hours an my car looked phenomenal! It seemed to last a good couple of days 2 until it started stormin all crazy
After thinkin about it tho, I only really got a chance to see my car from dusk-night or at low light, so everything was just shining, but i had no complaints
last week, I used it again, an let it sit for about 2.5 hours, an went to a local car meet.. Came out to go to work in the mornin an saw this

I put a light "coat" on, drove like a grandma thru traffic an it splattered all over my car!!

Also, in the daytime, the tires appear very greasy, not shiny as they advertise
All in all...
Pros: Looks great at night/low light situations, medium/wide/off spray pattern on the nozzle, you don't need a whole lot to get desired effect
Cons: tires need to be completely dry to apply(not very convenient), while spraying, it can get on the rims/car you just washed, flings a lot for a spray tire shine
So... I WONT be buying this again, not in spray form, gel form or any of the like.. When it comes to Meguiars, I'll stick to the car wash stuff, an leave em off my tires
on a good note tho.. I washed/waxed my gurl's civic yesterday an used up most of the stuff I had left
her car looks pretty good
You shoulda seen this thing beforehand

shitty deal, i find meguiars endurancetire shine works better than any others, its a gel too so that helps keep it on the tire and not the car.
i lay it on thick, dont drive for an hour or so and its on there for a week or so.
a little less if it rains

I'm yet to find a tire shine that I like. The black manic stuff is ok, but it still slings a bit, and it's a pain to get off when it does. Plus the stuff builds up on the tire and cakes on, so the tire ends up looking dirty all the time. I'm gonna try some turbo wax stuff next time. If I don't like that, I'll try adam's tire shine. I've tried pretty much everything you can pick up at auto zone and I wasn't happy with any of them.

OH! one thing I forgot to mention...
My boss said the same thing after I brought it up.. When the Meguiar's is done(dried up? rained off etc...) it leaves your tires lookin verrrrrrrrrrry thirsty an dry..

I had a bottle of that meguiars stuff sitting in my garage, I threw the stuff in the drain, rinsed it and filled the bottle with glass cleaner, neighbors might think I'm crazy when I clean the windows with tire shine.
I use the meguiars foam stuff once a week, doesn't last forever but it's easy and cheap enough to keep doing it a couple times a week.

I use Armorall extreme tire gel. Looks like jizz haha. Don't use a ton, just enough to give it a coating. Doesn't fling off and looks awesome. Very shiny. Best stuff I've ever used. And I've used a ton of different tire products.

This armorall wax sealant **** is awesome though and i highly recommend it.

This turtle wax black detailer is real good for a quick wipe down.
I'll throw my two cents in here. Since I have owned my car I have only used the Meguiars Hot Shine Foam. I have never, I repeat never had any sling. I have applied it when the tires are wet, still works good. It doesn't make the tires "shiney" (which I hate shiny tires). I need to clean my car so I'll clean it tomorrow and I'll post some pics for you. Honestly, I don't really plan on using another one. Oh and I haven't washed my car in roughly a week and it's rained two or three times and the tires don't look dried out, dirty, etc. But I'll post some pics for ya tomorrow man. Because I only use Meguiars or Mothers products. I'll even post a before pic too.
Only tireshine I'll EVER use is "Armorall rub on" tire shine
for $8.00 you get a shitload of it and a rubbing boot, squeeze some on the boot and smear it on the tire then rub excess off after 3 min.
It doesn't really sling.. as long as you dont over do it, and it lasts through some rain and puddles, you can't beat it really for that price

ya, my next product will be a gel.. I might try some of this "new voodoo stuff" that I keep seein.. I've never actually seen it on a car tho, so i dont really know wat to expect
I DO use that Armor All Sealant wax tho! I used it on the civic in the OP the day before this pic was taken
I use Chemical Guys Silk Shine, and 303 Aerospace Protectant. These are booth great because they are water based, and they have UV protection. They both give a like new shine, not "shiny" just clean and new. Kinda medium gloss. They both also work great on all the exterior plastic, weatherstrip and interior. I usually use 303 AP on the dash and CG Silk Shine on the rest of the interior.
They both dry to the touch quickly,(zero sticky, slimy or oily feel on interior) and you get zero fling even when driving immediately after applying.(as long as you follow instructions)
Some of the oily/slimy tire shines last longer on tires, but the stuff lasts a few weeks on interior and doesnt leave any buildup or eat plastic like some dressings do. Last at "full strength look" about 300 miles on tires for me if it doesnt rain.

303 Aerospace Protectant, 303 aerospace, 303 protectant, aerospace protectant, 303 products, 303 303 stuff is available at most marine stores too, as well as a lot of camper/rv stores
Chemical Guys Silk Shine Dressing & Protectant Chemical Guys stuff is only available online and at a few high end detailing supply places. Online is definitely easiest way to get it.

Yeeuup, Thats what I use, Its the BEST! No Fling and Last forever!
Ya that stuffs ****!! I love it! best tireshine there is
Lately I've been more and more satisfied by the tire shine we use at work. It's something made by Ardex. It lasts fantastically if you let it sit like ALL day. But otherwise it's junk and just slings off first time you drive it. I put the stuff on at 11 am tuesday, didn't move my car till 5, and the stuff stayed on my whole 60 mph drive home. It repels water really well, and will last through driving in rain. Comes right off with a pressure washer too, so it doesn't gunk up the tires. And when it wears off, it leaves the tires looking a nice satin black.
