Question about speed and the 16inch winters
I was wondering what the difference would be on the speedometer, I know it would be faster but I dont want to get passed by everybody on the highway while i think im doing the speed limit lol.
What kind of tires?
I think 205/60R16 (correct me if i'm wrong) are pretty much the same as the stock tires on the 18's.

Stock Tire - 215/45R18 Revs per Mile: 812.1 Actual Speed: 60 mph
Winter Tire - 205/60R16 Revs per Mile: 809.9 Actual Speed: 59.8 mph
Speedometer Difference: - 0.271% too slow.
You should be fine w/ what Omega suggested, and won't find anything closer...

is that really the only diff?? I put my stocl besides my winter with 205/60/16 and there was almost an inch difference from top of the tire, to top of the tire....
So like 1/2 inch from center

I don't think tread wear is going to throw measurements off that much. Overall, you're not going to have an inch more diameter if you have worn stock tires and put on brand new winter tires. We're not looking for exact science. As far as I knew, he was asking if they were comparable overall diameters and wouldn't impact his speedometer 2-3 miles per hour...
