what the hell vehicle speed sensor signal intermittent (pcm) p0503
what the hell would cause that...
my car just throws codes all the time...
P0103 ( o2 sensors I know I ran c12 through the car at the track ,,,, I know I know)
p1103 (same as above)
p0171 (got that fixed)
now a p0503
what in god's name would make that happen
also last night leaving work my power steering went dead for about 5 minutes... then all has been fine...
these cars are wierd....

 

does your check engine light come when this happens?

 

Yeah it did... cleared it and it hasn't come back yet... but who knows with this car

 

not with the power steering going dead though... just popped up on the DIC

 

This DTC will sometimes set if you hold your throttle open above 13% with the vehicle stationary for longer than 15 seconds or more. Basically it expects to see ehicle speed under the observed conditions and it doesnt. Check the connection to the VSS connector on your trans (purple and yellow wires) but if the DTC returns you will lilely have to have it diagnosed futher by your dealer.

thanks man... drove it a few blocks before and did a full rewrite on the car and it didn't come back..
also after I cleared it when I was driving (aeroforce) it didn't come back... I'll guess I'll see on the ride home tonight.
also power steering was fine after about 5 minutes last night and its been ok today
