Throttle Bodies! Those sexy Holes!

Ok so im glad to be a member of this site, i spend most of my time at cobaltss.c0m

but i want as much feedback as possible!

i found saturnmotorsports.com and mantapart.com offer throttle bodies for our 2.2L's

anyone think there would have to be any adjustments to the fuel system to make these work? anyone think that this sounds like a awsome mod? maybe throw some CEL's.?

ill ck back later.

oh i have a gmpp cat back, pacesetter header, injen intake. other b.s that wont affect performance.

FYI, that throttle body DOES NOT FIT our 2.2 motor. I already talked to Saturnmotorsports about it.

Well considering it only lists an 02' and 03' model, I doubt it.

Dude, do not deal with Mantapart. They fucked themselves over a long time ago. Read their Better Business Bureau report if you don't believe me:

Report as of: 11/20/2006
And this is information within the last 36 months. They've been screwing people over longer than I've been into the tuner car scene. And also picture the people who DON'T report them and just **** and moan about their problems with themselves. So no, don't buy into it.

As far as a bigger throttle body, it's not really needed in most cases. What is your current setup? The reason I say it's not needed cause it's one of those items that can effect your powerband negatively if the diameter is too large (for what you're looking for) and in a certain setup. Do you know the MM it is? Converting to drive-by-wire doesn't seem worth it overall. If you seriously want a bigger throttle body, take your car to a machine shop that can bore it and fit it with a bigger throttle body plate. That's basically all companies do.

It really depends on the place that does the work. I'd say maybe a couple hundred...just don't hold me to that.

Contact JBP or other ECOTEC related companies that do this type of work.
