gmpp intake 1/8 mile time results!!

and they are ....

inconclusive

so yeah...last time i went to the track, all i had done was the catback exhaust.
i ran high 10.4s- low 10.5s consistently, and somehow out of nowhere and only once i ran 10.37.

tonight:catback + gmpp intake: EXTREMELY PACKED!! i got 3 runs in before bracket, and one of them got messed up somehow and it didnt show my time. it wasnt completely inconclusive, i ran a 10.7 because i took my sweet time launching, then i ran a low 10.4 something, and then 10.37 again and then my best of 10.35.
so basically i ran lower times consistently
during bracket though i probably ran faster, but because of letting off/braking theres no way to tell.

i'll be going next sunday hopefully, and maybe i'll get there a little early.

Does your track show corrected times on the timesip? They make a better comparison.

The only "real" comparison is a dyno run with each intake on the same day (as close together as possible). But consistently lower ET over many runs also has some validity.

In any case, have fun!

I hope your kidding. An Intake on any car is only good for a tenth or 2 in the 1/4 mile.

You got an auto or 5spd?

BTW I put the GMPP intake on mine and dropped almost 3 full seconds off my 1/4 mile times!

and then I woke up.

5spds are worse for bracket racing as its harder to be consistant with them. That may be the issue here but who knows.

My GMPP works so well with the scoop that I can blip the throttle in neutral and it will SUCK me down the road!

Oh, wait, I guess that means my car sucks...
