Installing Intense axles..how to get passanger side out?

Hey guys,
well upgrading my axles to intenses 400hp axles. Was going to throw them in before i head to work this morning, but i could not get the passanger side axle out of the intermidiate shaft. I didn't unbolt it b/c i didn't want to take the intermediate shaft out of tranny. Is it possible to do it this way? Cause usually they just pop out, and this one didnt want too.

Thanks!
Nate

Yeah it can be a bitch... but you can take off the intermediate shaft (3 15mm bolts.. and it'll slide right out and then you can get em apart out of the car... but you can try to pry it out use a screwdriver (large) or a crowbar (I used it no damage) but be careful.. depending how many miles you got on the car it can be a pain to get it out, but it will with some persuasion... also remeber to lube the splines with tranny fluid when reinstalling them.

thanks.
ya, i pryed pretty good and it didn't budge. Found it weird, so i thought i'd ask before i pry really hard. Figure it would be easier to do it with it in the car. MM.. how many quarts of tranny fluid does the tranny take? And the pn from gm is 'special'. Is synthetic atf dexron 3 good enough?

dude... don't use anything but the Saturn tranny fluid in it,, my friend used ATF cause we had to swap axles at the track at night and no one had the fluid.. tranny's been making whining noises since.. so we changed out the fluid back to whats recommended.,.. just order some at the dealership and our capacity is 1.6 quarts according to GM... just get a long flexible funnel cause its a bitch to get fluid into that little plug hole..

just for the record...WOW!! It was BIATCH to get off. I took out the whole thing and man..it was on there good. I guess they didn't lubricate the shaft into the intermediate shaft and it was damn tough to get off.
