Header VS warranty

I am looking to get a aftermarket header, can that be sufficient grounds for GM to void my engine warranty. ( Ex. I blow my motor, would it still be warrantied?).

Its possible. As for all warranty issues, they have to be able to prove that your aftermarket part, in this case a header, would be the cause of the problem, in this case engine blowing up.

If the ports aren't matched or when you install it you fold a gasket over and block a port it could cause a major problem in the engine.

Very true, especially on something like a blown engine.

So am i better off with the GMPP manifold as it doesnt void warranty? and I could get it installed at a dealership! That way I would have 0 to worry about, right?

Dp can void the warrenty because your messing with the senser position and the back pressure. I Doesn hurt to ask the dealer and if they say yes you can, Then get it in writing.

Took me 2 hrs total, jacking up car, removing stock system, and putting the new one on. It was first time doing the exhaust and dp. Didn't do the header myself tho.

thats an easy 10hp on a 2.2 becasue the manifold is extremly restrictive.
