We can't tell that's a Cobalt LS. The white gauges scream a different model, but without knowing how the car looks, we can't tell the model.

If that's a Cobalt LS, how did he get past the governor at 105 mph?

 

I dont know about the governer so. But if you think thats a different kind of car. Then what do you think it is. I know its a 2005 Cobalt LS

 

2005 LS i believe is the same at the 2006 LT... if it is an LS, it has the sports package, which gives you the white gauges, and the governor is higher, i believe 120, because of the upgraded tires that come on it

 

Mine's a base model so some things might be different. I know for a fact white gauges weren't available without the sport package, so it's very possible that this is an LS. I'm not flaming—just letting you know that there might be some criticism for not actually seeing the car.

At about 90, it pretty much is gasping for its last breathe..

Man, i love having the power to get to 120 easily!

 

couple mods will help that... my car pulls pretty hard from 90 on

 

i test drove a blue 2005 LS cobalt and it had the white gauges and the 15inch rims and a spoiler.

 

I have an 05' LS with the sport package, i have those white guages, and my car goes well past 120, ive had er up to 128mph once, never again

 

if that is an LS though.. doesnt the speedo top at at 120? that would have been 100 where it stopped.. correct me if im wrong though

The white face guages go up to 140 mph

 

i have a base model 05 that registers to 120....ive buried the thing once ...never again...so no limiter here either
