At what point should you take the ride in and have it tuned.... Im getting ready to buy the injen cai, and the stage 2 upgrade from gm..... later hopefully in the beginning of summer ill buy some sort of exhaust.... When should u get the car tuned? I know of a shop in the Portland, Oregon area called Torque freaks and they are pretty popular... Ive heard people come from as far as florida to have their cars tuned by these guys.... Like I said though... when is a proper time to take it to them???

 

when you get say 60 lb injectors and a 2.6 pulley and you dont have a tune , stage 2 and an intake doesnt need to be tuned UNLESS you want to get that extra 10 hp from gm's sloppy stage 2 tune , so you need to tune when you get smaller pulley or bigger injectors so the a/f ratio is right and to make sure your not making knock, i dont think header downpipe and exhaust should require a tune but i could be wrong

If your getting stage 2, you will get a new flash. But as said above, if you get bigger injectors, you will have to.
